we boarded our dog for two days and when we showed up early and unexpectedly our white jack Russell/beagle was stained completely yellow with urine and had feces all over his legs. I was appalled. The lady handed us our dog like it was completely normal for a dog to be caked in urine. Our dog continued throwing up and having diarrhea for a week and a half after we had cleaned him up. Dont Ever Take Your Dog Here.

I've been using them for about 2 years to get my cocker's cut down every few months. They seem to stay extremely busy, but really care about the pets. I would take a place that can't answer the phone immediately over someone who isn't a "pet person" anyday. They always do a great job and at a great price. They only charge me $30 each!

I left my two inside/outside dogs at Shady Pines for a week while on vacation. They were completely filthy when I picked them up, and the personnel at Shady Pines had not given my dog any of the medicine that is supposed to be administered once a day. My dogs were neglected and abused, and I would not recommend Shady Pines to anyone. Shady business at Shady Pines!

If you're used to professionalism, they do not comply to those standards. They will not notify you when your pet is complete, although they will ask you for your number (but they wont use it). They may keep your pet overnight, and since they did not call you, they will leave without notifying you of a thing, and then charge you boarding. And don't think of calling the day you drop your pet off, they will not answer the phone. But they seem to return messages the next day to notify you that they will be closed and your pet wont be available for pickup until the next day (mon), even though they will be there all day today (sun). Does that make any sense? Bring correct change also, they don't seem to have change on site. I will never use them again, nor will I suggest anyone to use their services either.
