My husband & I and all our friends and family LOVE Masato's! It is great for every occasion, and is fun for the whole family. Food is delectable, servers are very attentive, and the chefs are spectacular! If you're looking for the best Masato's has to offer, request Kazoo (pronounced Ka-ju); he puts on a fantastic show every single time, and the food is always amazing! Filet mignon is hands-down THE best I've ever had, anywhere! 6 stars on a 5-star scale in my book

Good: The food was ok at most, doesn't compare to any Japanese restaurant I've been. The cook was very courteous and talented.. Bad: The waitress came to our table one time, we ended up getting our own refills. Since it was a party of 8 they included a 15% gratuity and I wouldn't have a problem with that if the waitress actually deserved it. Then I spoke to a manager and he was very rude. I was told if I don't want to leave a tip then don't visit the restaurant again. Not to worry though, I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. I'm trying to find the owners info, because this is a disgrace to the franchise.. Improvements: Nothing would ever make me visit this place again and I don't recommend it to anyone. Oh and I forgot to mention that I drove from SC to eat at this restaurant and be disrespected.. Other: I'm used to good customer service and good food, if that is what you're looking for Masato of Japan in Savannah, GA on Abercorn St. isn't the place to go..

This place has the best Japanese food in Savannah period! The service is great and the chefs make it more of an experience rather than just "Dining Out". We try to eat here at least twice a month and always have our birthday parties here. They have large tables so taking a large group there is never a problem.

This place has got to be the best Japanese food available in Savannah! The chefs are very entertaining and HILARIOUS! WE try to go here whenever we are in Savannah. And we always make it a point to go here whenever we have an excuse to celebrate anything. Birthdays here are a riot because the chefs come out to the table and sing happy birthday to you in English and then in Japanese! It is soooo funny! The Prices are very affordable and the portions are HUGE! I cant wait to get back there again! Reservations are generally a good idea as they are usually pretty busy. Reservations will get you in a lot quicker.

There food is sooo good and the portions are huge we always have a box full of food left over to take home. The chefs make it so much fun for the kids and adults i would recommened this place to everyone it's the BEST !!!!
